Falck and Control Risks enter a strategic partnership for global travel security

Falck and Control Risks have entered a strategic global partnership to help companies and public organisations better protect their employees. The partnership is particularly aimed at organisations whose employees travel internationally, including to high-risk areas.

The new collaboration combines Falck's medical assistance and global network with Control Risks' expertise in intelligence, security risk management, and crisis response in more than 190 countries. The partnership covers all stages, from prevention to crisis management and repatriation.

“Employees and their families expect their employer to take responsibility when they are sent out into the world,”
says Maria Meng, Managing Director, Travel Assistance at Falck.
“With this collaboration, we are making it simpler for companies to live up to their duty of care – and for employees to know that help is available whether they fall ill or a security incident occurs.”

A single, integrated solution

Through the partnership, clients gain access to a comprehensive travel risk management and duty of care solution that can be adapted for both regular business trips and long-term stays in complex environments.

In practice, this means that Falck’s global travel and medical assistance is closely integrated with Control Risks’ intelligence-led security consulting and crisis response. Organisations will be able to work more cohesively with risk management – from initial risk assessments and employee preparation, through the handling of specific incidents, to subsequent support and follow-up.

The integrated solution includes help with acute medical issues, support during security incidents, advice based on real-time intelligence, planning and execution of potential evacuations, as well as repatriation and aftercare if an employee has been involved in a serious incident.

“Control Risks and Falck share a strong commitment to helping organisations navigate complex environments,”
says Mark Shortman, Partner, Global Head of Operational Security at Control Risks.
“By combining our intelligence and security expertise with Falck’s medical capabilities, we provide clients with a single and trusted point of contact for global travel security and crisis support.”
