The 44-year-old Christian Baltzer will take over the position from Tor Lønnum as Group CFO and become member of The Executive Management in Falck with responsibility for Finance, IT and Legal. Thereby, he will play a pivotal role in the continued development of Falck as a global integrated healthcare service provider.
Christian Baltzer comes from a position as CEO of Codan Danmark, where he has helped prepare the divestment of Codan Forsikring's Danish business to Alm. Brand. He is an experienced top manager and has previously been Group CFO in Tryg from 2016-2018, as well as Group CFO in Danske Bank from 2018-2019. Both companies are listed on OMXC25 in Copenhagen.

Danish Christian Baltzer holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Copenhagen and has worked for 23 years in the financial sector, including five years in the USA. He has in-depth experience in IT and digitisation of business and brings a strong data-driven, strategic and analytical mindset to Falck.
