Jakob Riis, CEO of Falck, says:

"I am pleased to welcome two such strong profiles as Johanna and Jørgen to our executive management. Johanna brings an impressive insight into the Nordic healthcare sector, as well as a strong financial and commercial background, which will be crucial for developing our Scandinavian business. With Jørgen, we get a director for Europe who knows the operations from the inside and has a heavy, documented history of leading large, complex operations. I am completely confident that the responsibility for our important markets in Scandinavia and Europe is in good hands with them."

In connection with the changes, Lars Dam Jensen, former director of Region Europe, and Sonja Karaoglan, who served as interim director for Scandinavia, will step down from the Group Executive Management.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Lars and Sonja for their great efforts and significant contributions to Falck's transformation,"
says Jakob Riis.

Region Scandinavia: New director to strengthen cohesion

As director of Region Scandinavia, Johanna Rastad will be tasked with strengthening and expanding Falck's market position in employee healthcare, private healthcare services, and assistance services across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. She comes from a position as Regional Director for Northern Europe at IVCEvidensia and has previously held leading roles in large Nordic health and care companies such as the listed company Humana AB, KRY, and Team Olivia.

"As one of Scandinavia's largest healthcare providers, Falck has an incredibly strong position, and I see great potential in leveraging the cohesion between the Scandinavian countries even better. By utilising synergies across the countries, we can help even more people and at the same time create better and more digital experiences for our customers,"
says Johanna Rastad.

Region Europe: Stable operations and major contracts in focus for new director

Jørgen Mieritz takes over responsibility for the operationally heavy Region Europe, including Falck's ambulance contracts in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and Spain, as well as Falck´s fire services business. He brings more than 40 years of experience from Falck to the Group Executive Management, having started his career within ambulance and fire service and since had a long management career, including as head of Ambulance and Fire in Denmark. His primary focus will be to ensure stable operations, including a successful start-up of large new ambulance contracts in Catalonia and Scania.

"I am both proud and humbled to be given the responsibility for Region Europe. After more than 40 years in Falck, from paramedic and firefighter to leader, I know the importance of stable operations and quality in our services. My full focus will be on delivering on our plans together with the many talented colleagues in Europe, so we can continue to ensure good relationships with our partners and help people when they need it most,"
says Jørgen Mieritz.
