About the job

As an FP&A Analyst, you will have an exciting and impactful role where you, as part of the FP&A team, will contribute significantly to how we plan and enhance performance across Falck. The team plays a pivotal role in providing Executive Management and the Board of Directors with robust, data-driven insights to support key decisions. To thrive in this role, you must bring a strong blend of finance and business acumen, coupled with excellent communication skills. You approach your work in a structured manner, possess an analytical mindset, and delve beyond the numbers to truly understand business performance. You are collaborative, proactive, and adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders.

As part of the FP&A team, you will play a key role in:

  • Preparation of decision material and recommendations for the Executive Management
  • Monthly reporting on business performance to Executive Management and the Board of Directors
  • Quarterly reporting to key internal and external stakeholders, incl. co-writing of the interim report
  • Supporting the quarterly forecasting process and the annual Target setting process, and following up on strategic initiatives
  • Leading ad-hoc projects and various analysis, e.g. cost development, working capital management etc.
  • Taking part in and contributing to continuous improvement of the performance management processes

 

About you

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience – preferably coming from a similar role in a large international corporation, investment banking, or management consulting
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, including target setting, forecasting and capital allocation
  • An analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving as well as strong financial modelling skills
  • Good business acumen with a natural ability to put findings into a strategic and holistic perspective
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to easily translate complex issues into clear messages and convey these to key stakeholders in a simple and compelling way
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to cooperate and communicate across different organizational levels and cultures
  • A high level of integrity and trustworthiness, enabling you to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to support the above
  • A master’s degree (preferable in finance, economics, or business) with strong results
  • Fluent in English and a Nordic language

You thrive working with multiple priorities simultaneously in a changing environment with exposure to senior management and other key stakeholders.

About us

Financial Planning & Analysis acts as the analytical engine of Falck to provide insights and support optimal decision-making. The team plays a key role in the overall performance management in Falck and is thus a key anchor between the various business units in Falck, Group Finance, and Executive Management. The team currently consists of 5 people, and our key focus is having a significant impact while also fostering a positive and enjoyable working environment.
