Recruitment process

Our recruitment process

We care about our candidates and know it is important that you experience a smooth and transparent recruitment process. As a global company, our re-cruitment processes may vary across our locations and job functions, but generally, you can expect to go through the process outlined below when you apply for a position at Falck.

1. You apply for a position

Once you have submitted your application through our recruitment system, you will receive an email confirmation from us.  We process all incoming applications on an ongoing basis and aim to provide feedback as soon as pos-sible.

2. The screening process begins

Your application will be screened by our recruitment team or the hiring man-ager. We do not use AI tools to screen or evaluate candidates. We review all applications with care and ensure strict confidentiality throughout the process. In some cases, we might conduct an initial screening through the phone to get a better understanding of your profile and motivation for applying. If we find that your profile is a good match for the role, you will be invited for an inter-view.

3. We conduct interviews with selected candidates

The interview process varies by role and may include one or several rounds. Many frontline roles involve one interview, office roles typically include two, and executive roles may have up to three interview rounds.

During the interview process, we aim to get to know you and explore your skills and experience. We also provide you an opportunity to get to know Falck better and learn more about the position. Together, we aim to assess whether the role is the right match for you and for us.

4. We assess the match in different ways

Most recruitment processes include one or more assessments to ensure the right match. Our frontline recruitment processes often include health checks or physical evaluations, depending on the specific requirements of the role. You will receive information about the requirements, process and aims of the assessment during the recruitment process.

We may also ask you to complete a personality or cognitive assessment and solve a case before the interview to support the hiring decision. Your assess-ment or case will form the basis for discussion during the interview, as it is important that we go through the results with you.

5. We do background checks

We may conduct a background check to learn more about your employment history as a final step in the recruitment process. We only carry out these checks with your consent, and only when you have been offered the role.

The nature of the background checks varies across Falck and depends on the specific position and location. A background check may include:

  • Criminal record check
  • Education or certificate check
  • National ID check

You will be informed during the recruitment process about the specific re-quirements for the role you apply for.

6. You are offered employment

Once you are selected for a role, we will extend a job offer to you. When you accept the offer, we will provide a contract to formalise your employment with Falck.

7. We welcome you to Falck

We want to ensure you have a great start at Falck. We offer a tailored onboarding process designed to help you thrive in your new role.
