As a data controller, Falck Danmark A/S has a legal obligation to provide data subjects with information about our processing of personal data. This information is provided to you in this privacy notice. Falck is committed to protecting the privacy of all of our users and processing their personal data in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”). The following privacy notice explains how we process personal data of persons participating in the promotional campaigns about Falck Group.

Our processing of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Full name
- Contact information
- Job position and entity/department
- Image data collected via photos, video and audio recordings
We collect these personal data from you and other sources which we use to produce and edit promotional material. It is necessary for us to collect your personal data in order to fulfil the purposes set out below. You are not obliged to provide the personal data, e.g. by participating in an interview or in a promotional video. The consequence of not providing such personal data is that you will not be able to participate in the relevant promotional material. If you are an employee, not providing the personal data will not have any negative consequences to your employment with us.
We process personal data mainly for the following purpose and under the following legal bases:
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- To promote and market the Falck Group and our services
- To produce and edit promotional material about the Falck Group (promotional videos and photos, commercials, articles, interviews, press releases and posts on our social media channels, etc.)
- To disclose any such promotional material internally within the Falck Group organisation and externally, e.g. on the internet or otherwise (see above).
The legal bases for our processing of your personal data are:
- Our legitimate interest in promoting and marketing Falck and our services (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), and
- Your consent to the processing and disclosure (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 12(3) of the Danish Data Protection Act 2018).
We will make your personal data available to:
- Consultants and service providers which we use to record, edit and host promotional materials
- Other entities in the Falck Group, including via the Intranet
- Other third parties such as social media platforms and end-users of such platforms
Besides the above-mentioned recipients, Falck will also share your personal data with suppliers (“data processors”), who will process your personal data based on instructions from Falck. These data processors are primarily located within the EU/EEA, but a transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA (“third countries”), such as India and the US may occur, as Falck uses IT-functions who have support function in these countries.

We may make promotional materials with your personal data accessible to the entities or individuals located outside the EU/EEA, for example, in Falck entities located in the US, LATAM, etc. Where Falck entities are located in the jurisdictions which do not provide an adequate level of data protection, the transfer of your personal data will be based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We will only keep your personal data as long as it is necessary for us with regard to the specific, explicit and legitimate purposes for which your personal data was collected, namely for as long as your personal data is relevant in terms of commercial use. As a main rule, we will not keep your personal data for longer than five years or until you withdraw consent. When we no longer need your personal data, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.
Your right to withdraw consent
If you have given your consent to our processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not make unlawful our use of your personal data before the withdrawal. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data and we have no other lawful grounds to continue with that processing, we will delete your personal data.
Your other rights as set out in the GDPR
You have the following rights in relation to our processing of your personal data as set out in the GDPR:
- The right of access. You have the right to obtain access to your personal data and additional information connected hereto.
- The right to rectification. You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to erasure. You have the right, in certain cases, to have some or all of your personal data deleted before the end of our retention period.
- The right to restrict processing. In certain cases, you have the right to have processing of your personal data restricted to storage. Insofar as you can enforce this right, we may only process personal data (except from storage) with your consent, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or to protect a person or substantial public interests.
- The right to data portability. In certain cases, you have the right to receive or transmit to third parties the personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- The right to object to processing. In certain cases, and on grounds relating to your particular situation, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data. You may also object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
