The Falck group and Falck in Spain

Falck Group is owned by group of commercial foundations and private investment companies with a shared interest in creating value and positive impact through long-term investments.

In 2007 Falck expanded into the Spanish market, when the company acquired a shareholding majority of the industrial fire fighting company Lainsa, which began operating as Falck SCI. In 2012 Falck acquired the family owned business VL Servicios Sanitarios, one of the oldest providers of medical transportation in Spain that itself had been founded in 1967. With this combined expertise, Falck has been able to continue its proud history of commitment and care in communities across Spain.

Lundbeckfonden - 59.15 % A commercial foundation striving to improve health and well-being by supporting independent scientific research. Falck’s largest and controlling shareholder.

Kirkbi - 28.59 % An investment company owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family who created the world-famous toy brand LEGO.

Tryghedsgruppen - 11.94 % Majority owner of Tryg Insurance and TrygFonden. Dedicated to creating value and promote greater safety in society through long-term investments.

*Remaining 0,32% is Management and treasury shares.

Falck A/S' share capital is nominally DKK 81,445,955 consisting of 81,445,955 shares with a nominal value of DKK 1,00 each.
