Falck has made an agreement with GRU Airport to deliver aircraft rescue and firefighting service in the International Airport of Sao Paulo. The airport is the largest in South America with 42,2 million passengers in 2018.
“We are very happy with this new contract. Falck already operates in other significant airports in Brazil, so we are pleased to take on the responsibility in Sao Paulo International as well,” says Erik Petersen, managing director of Falck IFS, Brazil.
He has experienced a broad interest from Brazilian firefighters to join the new Falck team at the airport and Falck will be ready to take over the responsibility at 16 February. Falck will have 86 employees at the airport.
Leader in aviation
In December Falck IFS began delivering rescue and firefighting services for the two largest Scottish airports. Globally, Falck is a leading provider of high-quality aviation rescue and firefighting services.

We now have a state-of-the-art global business model at Falck IFS, which gives us an advantage throughout the different industries to the benefit of our partners,” explains Stig Tiedemann, SVP, Falck IFS.
