These districts include eight ambulance stations in Eslöv, Hörby, Löddeköpinge, Lund, Sjöbo, Ystad, Höör, and Skurup. Falck has previously been responsible for parts of the ambulance operations in Skåne and looks forward to once again collaborating with Region Skåne and contributing to ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-centered service. Currently, Falck Ambulance Sweden has a strong collaboration with Region Östergötland, where Falck's nurses and paramedics assist the region's citizens.

The global health and emergency company Falck, headquartered in Denmark, has over 100 years of experience in developing and operating high quality ambulance services.

The contract extends over 2 years and 9 months, with an option for Region Skåne to extend it for an additional 2 years.

"We are incredibly pleased and proud that Region Skåne has chosen Falck as its partner for their ambulance services. We look forward to a close collaboration where, together, we will ensure a stable, efficient, and high-quality ambulance service that meets the citizens' needs for fast and safe help. We are grateful for the trust and will do our utmost to ensure that the citizens of Skåne can always be certain that help is readily available when they need it most,"

says Anna Sandstedt, responsible for Falck Ambulance in Sweden.

Falck will continue to prioritise operational stability, quality, and a good working environment for its employees in Skåne.
