Falck acquires Norwegian company Frisk Gruppen that specializes in labour market services, occupational health services and specialist healthcare. The acquisition means that Falck’s current business in Norway will grow substantially increasing revenue to 1 BN NOK.

Falck has a strong market position within healthcare services in Scandinavia and with the acquisition of Frisk Gruppen we will be joined by 700 new, skilled employees and thus further strengthen our Nordic presence in line with our strategy to develop Falck as an integrated healthcare business with dedicated health and labour market services to citizens, to the public sector and to private businesses,” says Jakob Riis, CEO of Falck.
Frisk Gruppen consists of three divisions, Frisk Utvikling, Aktimed Helse and Frisk Spesialist and has close to 700 employees spread across approximately 90 locations in Norway providing labour market services, occupational health services and specialist healthcare.
Together, Falck and Frisk Gruppen will have more than 1,500 healthcare professionals in Scandinavia and a network of +10,000 healthcare specialists.
The acquisition has been filed with the Norwegian competition authorities and is conditioned by the approval of the authorities.
