Fire in hotel in Kristianssand, Norway

Falck assisted in the emergency response to a fire in Hotel Caledonien in Kristianssand, Norway, which caused 14 casualties.
On the 5th of September a fire started at the Hotel Caledonien in the Norwegian city of Kristiansand. The fire started at the basement working its way up and thus blocked the exits for the guests in the tall building.
Falck was called and participated in the coordination of the rescue work supplying ambulances. All in all more than 100 people were rescued but 14 still died on this tragic day.
