Falck named Workplace of the Year 2008

5-Sep. 2008

The trade union 3F and trade journal Fagbladet have rated Falck A/S Workplace of the Year 2008.

“Falck receives the main award because they look after their employees, care for them and have confidence in them; because management listens to the employees and because of the company’s unique corporate spirit. You showed public spirit long before the concept was invented,” said 3F Chairman Poul Erik Skov Christensen when he presented the award for Workplace of the Year 2008 to Falck.

Alan Søgaard Larsen, Falck’s CEO is both proud and humble about receiving the award.
“I feel proud when I hear the nice words and praise about the people at Falck.  It’s nice to know that the external community also considers Falck a good and responsible workplace with great public spirit,” said Søgaard Larsen.

“Yet, Falck can become an even better workplace and we can achieve an even stronger position in society. This award gives all of us the moral support to continue our good work along the right track, making a difference in Danish society as a whole,” said Søgaard Larsen.

Danish regional energy company for Zealand SEAS-NVE was rated number two. The third place was shared by the patient hotel at the regional hospital of Randers and VAM A/S a contracting company. The four companies where shortlisted for the finals out of a total of 77 companies.
