Falck adds two ambulances in Germany

A number of the ambulances in the German town of Gelsenkirchen will be sporting red Falck logos this spring. Falck just won two out of three bids in the city.

This means that Falck will provide the services of two ambulances 24 hours a day from April 1 and four years onwards.

Thus, Falck continues its progress in Germany where Falck has won four ambulance tenders this year. Falck Germany now has 250 employees, 46 ambulances and three on-call vehicles in the federal states of Nordrhein-Westfalen and Brandenburg.

Falck Senior Vice President Bo Eklund is pleased that Falck now has gained a foothold in Germany.
”We are looking forward to providing the kind of quality service to the German citizens and authorities that people in Denmark have gotten used to over the years. If we continue to prove our worth, we expect that many more places in Germany will trust in us running their ambulance business,” says Bo Eklund.
