Falck now in Chile

Falck is now boosting its presence even further in Latin America by acquiring 80 percent of the Chilean emergency and safety training company Aprem, which will be called Falck Aprem from now on.
The company is located in Chile’s capital Santiago and has 25 employees.
Some of Falck Aprem’s clients include companies in the Chilean mining industry. They are serviced by Falck Aprem’s health clinics, safety training and emergency services like fire services, often in remote parts of the country where the mines are located.
Following this acquisition of Falck Aprem, Falck will now, for the first time, service the Latin American mining industry. Falck intends to further develop Falck Aprem as a platform for servicing the mining industry.
”We consider the South American mining industry a very interesting area for us. Considering the demand for emergency and safety training in that particular line of business, we believe that Falck, with our international experience, has much to offer, not only in Chile but in the entire region. We see Falck Aprem as an important first step in that direction,” says Executive Vice President in Falck, Hans Jensen.
Following this acquisition in Chile, Falck is now present in 34 countries on five continents.
