Falck acquires Florida ambulance company

Falck has achieved a platform for further expansion in the US by acquiring American Ambulance which operates in 13 counties in South and Central Florida.
“American Ambulance supplies high quality ambulance services and provides Falck with an experienced management team and infrastructure to support our growth in the Southeastern part of the US”, says Boo Heffner, Falck Senior Vice President, Emergency North America.
American Ambulance provides 250.000 transports annually. The company was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida.
