The Lodz region has assigned Falck another 29 ambulances and a lifeboat – a deal valid for five years from January 2012.
Falck now runs 66 Polish ambulances all in all and one lifeboat in the Lodz region. Thus Falck will expand its position as Poland’s largest supplier of rescue services.
Falck now has a 30 percent market share in the Lodz region and a 5,5 percent market share in Poland in general – 84 ambulances and two lifeboats altogether.
”We are very proud that the region of Lodz has entrusted Falck with this very important task. In cooperation with the Polish authorities, we are looking forward to supply the best ambulance services to the Polish citizens,” says Bo Eklund, Senior Vice President of Falck Emergency.
