Falck Healthcare buys HealthCare Danmark

Falck Healthcare has bought Denmark’s second largest private health solution provider, HealthCare Danmark. Thus, Falck is further expanding its network of health clinics and will also get a valuable system for measurement of effect.
”By integrating Denmark’s two largest private health solution providers we will be even better at preventing sickness and physical and mental disabilities,” says Falck Healthcare CEO of Scandinavia, Jan Steenhard.
HealthCare Danmark provides health care solutions for 130,000 employees in public and private companies using teams consisting of physiotherapists, nurses, massage therapists, occupational therapists and reflexologists.
The company has also developed a procedure measuring the effect of the treatments received by the clients.
“These effect measuring procedures will make our therapists even better at helping every single client with their particular needs – and thus improving the treatment for both our clients and our therapists,” says Jan Steenhard.
HealthCare Danmark’s founder, Uffe Lindstrøm, is looking forward to continuing his health care work in a new position and company.
”By joining Falck Healthcare we are making sure that this business in general continues to develop in a serious direction, making it easier to spread the access to quality health care preventive work,” says Uffe Lindstrøm who founded HealthCare Danmark 19 years ago.
Uffe Lindstrøm will now be Director of Health in Falck Healthcare, Denmark. He will be responsible for the development of cooperation with public clients.
Previous Managing Director of HealthCare Danmark, Henrik Lundum, will continue in the same position at Falck Healthcare in Denmark.
Falck Healthcare attends to 1.6 million citizens with health care schemes and has more than 7000 public and private companies included in its customer base.
