Emergency preparations

The instructors at Falck’s training centres prepare course attendees for the worst imaginable situations and any kind of unforeseen event that may occur on an offshore installation, in a vessel or in other industries that work under difficult or risky conditions. The training includes crisis management, fire fighting, rescue at sea and first aid/CPR.

Falck Nutec offers all kinds of consulting services in practical safety. At Falck centres, a complete illusion of conditions in an accident situation are created in a realistic environment with high waves and gale-force winds.

Under safe conditions, course attendants are put under pressure, and they play their roles to the full, because everyone knows that the situation could be very real some day. The drills are challenging both mentally and physically, and participants learn how to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of others.

An offshore installation or a vessel is a potentially dangerous place to work, not necessarily because there are many accidents, but because even small mistakes can have major and unpredictable consequences. Therefore, it is crucial that everyone is trained to avoid mistakes and to know what to do in the event of an accident.
